About Armagh Denture Clinic
Armagh Denture Clinic was established by Clinical Dental Technician Martin Shivers in 2014.
We believe that dentures should be functional, fit great and look aesthetically pleasing. A great fitting and functioning denture can improve your confidence. In order to achieve this, we believe it is important to receive a thorough consultation where our patients are listened to & can express their concerns and problems with wearing dentures.
We can provide patients with solutions and appropriate bespoke treatment plan. Using advanced techniques and innovative technology we can improve patients experience of wearing dentures.
Martin Shivers CDT Dip CDT RCS (Eng)
Martin first began training in dental technology in 1982 & opened his first dental laboratory in Armagh City in 1989. He is a qualified and registered Dental Technician & Clinical Dental Technician with the General Dental Council. He has provided a service to the public and clients North & South of Ireland for over 30 years. He has extensive experience and knowledge in manufacturing dentures.
In 2013 Martin was awarded a Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology from the Royal College of Surgeons, London. This enabled Martin to open Armagh Denture Clinic in 2014 where he can treat edentulous patients directly or treat patients from a referring dentist. He has undertaken advanced training in complete & partial dentures & restoring implant retained dentures. To keep abreast of his technical skills & knowledge, he has attended many courses in UK, Ireland & Europe.
His main aim is to improve his patients experience of wearing dentures. He believes dentures should not only be functional but look natural & be aesthetically pleasing. He has a keen interest in advanced cases, implant retained dentures & functional dentures (dentures that are more retentive and stable).
